Penelope T Boutique Web Design & Programming
Penelope T is a small boutique located in South Tampa, and named after a mod/vintage model (Penelope Tree). They sell hip, low key, attractive clothing to women in the know from all over Tampa.
When they decided they finally needed a web presence, we were fortunate enough to inherit the task. The goal was to develop a site that played with the Penelope Tree aesthetic, and had a vintage/modern feel. We created a series of composite mastheads and a complimentary color palette for the body content and background patterns to make give each page a unique look, while remaining in the same family.
It’s php/mysql-driven with a custom CMS, e-commerce engine, and blog.
** We’re retrofitting the whole back-end to be driven by Wordpress to add a little more ease of use for the client, who happens to love WP.
